Alex's undergraduate research is published

As an undergraduate researcher, Alex Waugh took lead on an in-depth study of how and why college biology instructors use random call. This work was published in LSE in 2020. We are particularly proud of how it outlines the various rationales that instructors have for different ways of implementing random call, and how it adds complexity to recent discussions about the interplay between random call and student anxiety.
